The Art Directors Club
Objective: Increase attendance to the Art Director's Club (ADC) annual festival by targeting ad agency creatives whose attendance numbers had been decreasing.
Insight: Ad agency creatives are more likely to read and respond to messages that are from industry peer.
Requirement: Utilize "Laser Cat," a giant cat installation created by the ADC that projects art made by agency creatives during the Festival, in the campaign.
Solution: Feature established agency creatives and industry leaders as “Laser Cat” ambassadors and have them share the videos with their industry peers and network.
Budget: $0
Results: More than 4,000 video views, on a single video, the first week alone with earned media and impressions around “Laser Cat” and dozens of agency creatives purchasing tickets to the festival for the first time.
Winner: of the "Top Dog Award" for best marketing and advertising campaign.
